تحصيل taḥsīl A (inf. ii. of حصول) s. f. 1. Gain, acquisition, profit, attainment, learning. 2. Col- lection (particularly, of revenues). Pl. تحصيلات taḥṣīlāt, Collections, acquisitions. تحصيل کرنا taḥṣīl karnā, To acquire, to gain, to learn, to collect (revenue, &c.). A.P. تحصيلدار taḥṣīl-dār, s. m. A collector, a tax- gatherer. A.H. تحصيلنا taḥṣīl-nā, v. a. 1. To collect, to ga- ther a tax. 2. To oppress, to afflict. A.P. تحصيل داري taḥṣīl-dār-ī, s. f. Collectorship, tax-gathering.

تزوير tazwīr A (inf. ii. of زور) s. f. Imposture, fraud, deceit, stratagem, deception, lie.

توتن tūtan H s. m. Chips, clippings, filings, frag- ments.

تابوت tābūt A s. m. f. 1. A coffin, a bier. 2. The ark of the covenant, presented by God to Adam, and which (according to Muhammadans) contained the portraits of all the prophets. تابوت گر tābūt-gar, Coffinmaker, undertaker.

ترخيم tarḵẖīm A (inf. ii. of رخم) s. f. Abbrevia- tion, contraction, apocope (in grammar).

تهنبنا thambnā S̱. same as تهمنا thamnā, q. v.
