تحليل taḥlīl A (inf. ii. of حلّ) s. (used generally in compos. with verbs) 1. Dissolving, diges- tion, concoction, solubility. 2. Making lawful. تحليل هونا taḥlīl honā, To waste, to consume.

تعزيه taﻌziya A (from عزي) s. m. 1. See تعزيت taﻌziyat. 2. It is become the name of the re- presentation of the tomb of Hasan and Husain, which is thrown into the river at the anniver- sary of the muḥarram. تعزيه خانه taﻌziya-ḵẖāna, s. m. The place of taﻌziya. تعزيه دار يا گير taﻌziya-dār or -gīr, One who observes the mourning in muḥarram: and, تعزيه داري taﻌzi- ya-dār-ī, s. f. The observance of it. تعزيه لينا taﻌziya lenā, To observe the mourning during the muḥarram, to go into mourning.

تهام thām S̱. (स्तंभ) s. m. A prop, pillar, support, obstacle.

تاري tārī ताली S̱. s. f. 1. The clapping of hands. 2. A key. 3. Abstraction, absence of mind, absorption in thought or devotion.

ترارا tarrārā H s. m. Rapidity, flow. ترارابهرنا tarrārā bharnā, To gallop.

تاک باک tāk-bāk H s. f. Nick of time.

تنوير tanwīr A (inf. ii. of نور or نار) s. f. Illumina- tion.

ته tah P s. f. 1. Fold, plait, ply, layer or stratum. 2. The bottom; beneath, under; intent, meaning. ته بازار tah-bāzār, s. Ground of a market. ته بازاري tah-bāzār-ī, Ground rent of a stall in the market. ته بته tah-ba-tah, adv. Plait by plait, every fold. ته بته کرنا tah-ba-tah karnā, To pile one upon another. ته بند tah-band, s. m. A cloth worn round the waist, and passing between the legs. ته پيچ tah-pech, s. m. A cap or cloth worn under the turband. ته پوشي tah-posh-ī, s. f. Drawers worn by women under their trousers. ته جمانا tah jamānā, v. a. To plait. ته خانه tah-ḵẖāna, s. m. A cavern, a cellar, a room under ground, a lower story, a

تدهارا tidhārā त्रिधार S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a plant. (Euphorbia antiquorum). 2. The meeting of three streams.

تشـﮩد tashahhud A (inf. v. of شـﮩ‍ادت) s. m. 1. Making a profession of religious sentiments. 2. Avowing belief in the unity of the deity and the mission of Muhammad.
