تفوق tafauwuḳ A (inf. v. of فوق) s. m. 1. Pre- tending to a superiority over others. 2. Doing any thing by degrees.

تلف talaf A s. m. 1. Ruin, destruction, loss. 2. Prodigality, consumption, expense. تلف المال خلف العمر talafu-l-māl ḵẖalafu-l-uﻌmr, The loss of riches is the prolongation of life. تلف کرنا talaf karnā, To ruin, to waste, consume, des- troy. تلف هونا talaf honā, To be unfortunate, to meet with a loss, to be destroyed.

تقيد taḳaiyud A (inf. v. of قيد) s. m. f. 1. Ap- plication, attention, diligence, industry, strictness, injunction. 2. Care, assiduity, superintending, overseeing. (Plur. تقيدات).
