Suspicion of guilt, false ac- cusation, calumny, slander, falsely charging one with a crime, aspersion, imputation. تـﮩمت لگاني or کرني or ديني tuhmat-lagānī, or -karnī, or -denī, To belie, to calumniate, slander, to asperse, to traduce, to accuse falsely. A.H. تـﮩمتي tuhmat-ī, adj. 1. Suspicious. 2. Ig- nominious.
