Districts, into which a kingdom is divided, each being sup- posed to furnish 10,000 fighting men. تربيني tri-benī S (त्रिवेणी Three braids of hair) s. f. The conflux of three sacred rivers; espe- cially, that of the Ganges, Jamunā, and sup- posed Saraswatī under ground at Ilāhābād, which city is also so named.
