Relieving pain or trouble. تخفيف دينا taḵẖfīf- denā, To alleviate, assuage, &c. تخفيف کرنا taḵẖfīf karnā, To extenuate, mitigate, allay, remit.

تراي tarāʼī H s. f. A marsh, mead, meadow. تراي کهيوا tarāʼī-khewā, adj. Living in, or near water, waterfowl, water-(spaniel, &c.).

تکيني takīnī P. (from تکيه) s. f. A small pillow.

تهوپ thop H s. m. An ornament at the end of the bamboo of a pālkī, &c., head, topping.

ترکه tarka A s. m. The estate of a deceased per- son.

تگاٴي tagāʼī H (from تگانا) s. f. 1. The price paid for quilting, &c. 2. The act of quilting.

تکثيف taks̤īf A (inf. ii. of کثف) s. f. Rendering thick or dense, condensation.
