تمين tum-eṅ S̱. pron. plur. See تمـﮩين tum-heṅ. P. S̱. تن tan (Sans. तनु tanu) s. m. The body, person. تن پرور tan-parwar, Careful of the body, over attentive to the body. تن پروري tan- parwar-ī, s. f. Self-indulgence. تن تنـﮩ‍ا tan-i-tanhā, adv. Alone, solitary. تن درست tan- durust, adj. Healthy, vigorous. تندرستي tan- durust-ī, s. f. Health, vigour. تن ده tan-dih, A person of application. تندهي tan-dih-ī, s. f. Application, exertion, attention, diligence. تن دينا tan denā, To pay attention. تن ومن مارنا tan-o-man mārnā, To restrain oneʼs desires and be silent.

تزلزل tazalzul A (inf. ii. of زلزلة) s. m. 1. Commo- tion, agitation, trepidation. 2. An earthquake.

تذبذب taẕabẕub A (inf. ii. of ذبذب) s. Agita- tion, commotion, palpitation; vacillation, sus- pension of judgment, ambiguity.

ترين tarīn P 1. A particle added to adjectives, to form the superlative degree; most, very. 2. adj. Moist, fresh, good.

تاهري tāhirī H s. f. A kind of dish, viz. Rice boiled with baṛī (वटि), which consists of pulse (Phaseolus radiatus) ground in a wet state, mixed with ginger, pepper, &c. and dried in small lumps.

ترس tars H s. m. Compassion, mercy. ترس کهانا tars khānā, To compassionate, to pity.

تندي tund-ī P (from تند q. v.) s. f. Acrimony, fierceness, sharpness, activity, impetuosity.

تقريس taḳrīs A (inf. ii. of قرس) s. f. Cooling, congealing.

توڙٿا toṛnā त्रोटन S̱. v. a. 1. To break, tear, rend, burst, split, demolish. 2. To change (money), to pluck or gather (fruit, flowers, &c.), to reduce (in arithmetick). دم توڙنا dam toṛnā, To be at the point of death. روٿي توڙنا roṭī toṛnā, To eat the bread of idleness. توڙنا جوڙنا toṛnā joṛnā (to break and to join) expresses absolute power over any thing.

تجار tujjār A (plur. of تاجر used as a singular in Hind.) s. m. A merchant.
