تفارق tafāruḳ A (inf. vi. of فرق) s. m. Division, separation.

تهوتهني thūthnī S̱. s. f. (थोथ) The mouth of a horse, camel, &c.

تيوري teʼorī H s. f. Frown. تيوري چڙهانا teʼorī chaṛhānā, To frown. تيوري چڙهنا teʼorī chaṛhnā, A frown to come on.

تالاو tālāʼo P. s. m. A pond, a reservoir of water, a tank. (Sans. तडाग).

تعزيه taﻌziya A (from عزي) s. m. 1. See تعزيت taﻌziyat. 2. It is become the name of the re- presentation of the tomb of Hasan and Husain, which is thrown into the river at the anniver- sary of the muḥarram. تعزيه خانه taﻌziya-ḵẖāna, s. m. The place of taﻌziya. تعزيه دار يا گير taﻌziya-dār or -gīr, One who observes the mourning in muḥarram: and, تعزيه داري taﻌzi- ya-dār-ī, s. f. The observance of it. تعزيه لينا taﻌziya lenā, To observe the mourning during the muḥarram, to go into mourning.

تيره tīra P adj. Dark, obscure. تيره ابر tīra-abr, s. m. Black clouds. تيره بخت tīra-baḵẖt, adj. Unfortunate. تيره بختي tīra-baḵẖt-ī, s. f. Mis- fortune. تيره دل tīra-dil, 1. adj. Black-hearted, malicious. 2. s. m. An apostate, an outcast. تيره رنگ tīra-rang, adj. Black. تيره روزگار tīra- rozgār, Unfortunate. تيره روزي tīra-roz-ī, s. f. Misfortune, adversity.

تردوش त्रिदोष त्रि Three, and दोष Evil, fault tri-dosh̤ S. s. m. Effervescence of the three humours, viz. phlegm, bile, and atrabilis.

تپت तप्त tapat S or tapt, 1. adj. Hot, warm, fervent. 2. s. f. Heat.

تاڙنا tāṛnā S (ताडना) (r. तड Beat) s. m. Punishment, admo- nition, reproof, penalty. تاڙناکرنا tāṛnā karnā, To reprove, punish, chastise.
