تلقين talḳīn A (inf. ii. of لقن) s. f. Instructing, instruction, informing, religious instruction; prayer over the dead at the time of interment. تلقين کرنا talḳīn karnā, To instruct, to in- form, to teach. تلقين هونا talḳīn honā, To be instructed.

تم tum त्वम् S̱. 2d pers. pron. plur. You. تم آپ tum āp, You yourself. تمکو tum ko or تمـﮩون کو tumhoṅ ko, To you.

تهيلي thailī H s. f. 1. A purse tied round the waist. 2. A bag.

تتني titnī S̱. f. (तावत्) adj. So many, so much. تتني مين titne meṅ, In so much (time).

تهال thāl स्थाल S̱. s. m. A large flat dish.

تعريض taﻌrīẓ A (inf. ii. of عرض) s. f. 1. En- larging. 2. Making conspicuous. 3. Rendering obnoxious. 4. Ambiguity in speech or hinting at a subject obscurely, insinuation of evil. 5. Rendering intricate. 6. Making writing illegi- ble. 7. Not dressing meat sufficiently. 8. Op- posing, objecting. 9. Barter, exchange of one commodity for another.

توپڙا topṛā H s. m. 1. A fly. 2. A kind of pigeon.

تلطف talat̤t̤uf A (inf. v. of لطف) s. m. Kindness, obligingness, blandishment, favour. تلطف کرنا talat̤t̤uf karnā, To shew kindness or favour, to oblige.

تل तिल til S s. m. 1. The seed of the Sesa- mum, or name of the plant (Sesamum orientale). 2. A mole on the face. 3. A moment, an in- stant. تلون مين تيل نـﮩين کـﮩنا tiloṅ meṅ tel nahīṅ kahnā, (lit. to say there is no oil in the seeds of Sesamum, is) To say snow is black, to deny the most evident truth.

تصحيحه taṣʼḥīḥ-a A s. m. Muster. داغ تصحيحه dāg̠ẖ-i-taṣʼḥīḥa, The office in which the horses taken up for service are marked.
