تکبير takbīr A (inf. ii. of کبر) s. f. Repeating the Musalmān creed; or only saying, "God is great," upon particular occasions.

تمثيل tams̤īl A (inf. ii. of مثل) s. f. 1. Comparison, similitude. 2. Allegory, parable, apologue, an example, a counterpart or duplicate, a fac simile. (Plur. تمثيلات tams̤īlāt). تمثيل لانا tams̤īl lānā, To allegorize.

تد tad तदा S. adv. Then, at that time, after- wards, in that case, therefore, so soon. تدبهي tad bhī, adv. Still, nevertheless, however, not- withstanding. تد تو tad to, adv. Then, in that case. تد سي tad se, adv. Thence, since that time.

تلي tale S̱. (तल Bottom) adv. Below, down, beneath, under. تلي اوپر tale-ūpar, adj. 1. Upside down. 2. Confused. تلي تلي ديکهنا tale tale dekhnā, To see clandestinely. تلي کي زمين اوپرهوني tale kī zamīn ūpar honī, is used to express great disturbance and confusion.

تنقيح tanḳīḥ A (inf. ii. of نقح) s. f. 1. Cleaning, polishing. 2. Deciding disputes, investigation, search, ascertaining.
