تلون talauwun A (inf. v. of لون) s. m. Changing colours (like a chameleon). 2. Fidgetting, rest- lessness, capriciousness, changeableness. تلون طبع يا مزاج talauwūn-t̤abﻌ or -mizāj, adj. Capri- cious, whimsical, fretful. تلون مزاجي talauwun- mizāj-ī, s. f. Capriciousness, caprice.

تصنيف taṣnīf A (inf. ii. of صنف) s. f. Invention, composition, writing (of a book, &c.). (Plur. تصنيفات or تصانيف). تصنيف کرنا taṣnīf karnā, To compose, write (a book, &c.).

تسلي tasallī A (inf. v. of سلي or سلا Heb. He was quiet) s. f. Consolation, comfort, so- lace. تسلي بخش tasallī-baḵẖsh, adj. Con- solatory, comforting. تسلي دينا tasallī denā, To comfort, to assure, to secure, to animate, to exhilarate, to console. تسلي هونا tasallī honā, To be consoled or comforted.

تجـﮩيز tajʼhīz A (inf. ii. of جـﮩز) s. f. 1. Burial. 2. Expediting, arranging, adorning. تجـﮩبزلشکرکرنا tajʼhīz-i-lashkar karna, To raise an army.

تزٴين tazʼīn A (inf. ii. of زينت) s. f. Dressing oneʼs self, decoration, ornament, honour, jewel.

تڙاقا taṛāḳā H s. m. (dakh.) Sound of striking, a blow.

تعزيه taﻌziya A (from عزي) s. m. 1. See تعزيت taﻌziyat. 2. It is become the name of the re- presentation of the tomb of Hasan and Husain, which is thrown into the river at the anniver- sary of the muḥarram. تعزيه خانه taﻌziya-ḵẖāna, s. m. The place of taﻌziya. تعزيه دار يا گير taﻌziya-dār or -gīr, One who observes the mourning in muḥarram: and, تعزيه داري taﻌzi- ya-dār-ī, s. f. The observance of it. تعزيه لينا taﻌziya lenā, To observe the mourning during the muḥarram, to go into mourning.

تون tūn S s. m. 1. (तूण) A quiver. 2. (तुन्न) Name of a tree. (Cedrela toona).

تٿا taṭṭā H s. m. (dakh.) See ٿٿا ṭaṭṭā.

تتـﮩري tatahrī H s. f. A vessel for warming water, a kettle.
