تجويف tajwīf A (inf. ii. of جوف) s. f. Hollowing, making concave.

تلوا talūʼā S̱. or talwā (तल) s. m. The sole of the foot. تلواچاٿنا talūʼā chāṭnā, or تلوي تلي هاتهـ دهرنا talwe tale hāth dharnā, To flatter. تلوي تلاسي talwe-talāsī, s. f. (dakh.) Rubbing of the soles of the feet. تلوي سـﮩ‍لاني talwe sah- lāne (lit. To stroke the soles of the feet) signi- fies excessive flattery, adulation. تلوون سي آگ لگني talwoṅ se āg lagnī (lit. burning in the soles of the feet) implies excessive anger.

تيلي telī तैली S̱. s. m. Name of a cast whose business is to sell oil, an oilman.

تنتنانا tuntunānā H v. n. To sound.

تصانيف tasānīf A s. plur. (of تصنيف) Literary compositions.

تل तिल til S s. m. 1. The seed of the Sesa- mum, or name of the plant (Sesamum orientale). 2. A mole on the face. 3. A moment, an in- stant. تلون مين تيل نـﮩين کـﮩنا tiloṅ meṅ tel nahīṅ kahnā, (lit. to say there is no oil in the seeds of Sesamum, is) To say snow is black, to deny the most evident truth.

توجيه taujīh A (inf. ii. of وجه) s. f. 1. Calling oneʼs attention. 2. Explaining, accounting for. 3. Adjustment of accounts. 4. Assessment. 5. A description roll, statement. توجيه نويس tau- jīh-navīs, A keeper of description rolls.

تياري taiyār-ī A. s. f. Readiness, preparation. S. تياگ त्याग (r. त्यज Quit) tyāg, s. m. Ab- dication, leaving, abandonment, renunciation.

تهرانا thirānā S̱. (from स्थिर) v. n. To settle (as, liquor).

تشرع tasharruﻌ A (inf. v. of شر) s. m. 1. The ordinances of a prophet, particularly the laws of Muhammad. 2. Acting agreeable to those ordinances.
