تڙپنا taṛapnā H or تڙپهنا taṛaphnā, v. n. 1. To flutter, palpitate, flounce, be agitated, writhe, jump, spring, bound, wriggle, toss. 2. To be very desirous about any thing.

تاسف taʼassuf A (inf. v. of اسف) s. m. Brooding over affliction, pining, lamenting, grief, re- gret, remorse. تاسف کرنا taʼassuf karnā, To grieve, lament, pine, regret (over).

تلاو talāʼo P. (corrupt. of تالاب) s. m. A pond, re- servoir of water.

تماسخ tamāsuḵẖ A (inf. vi. of مسخ) s. m. Effacing, transforming, metamorphosing.

تڙتڙانا taṛtaṛānā H v. n. 1. To trickle, to drop, to patter, to bluster, to welter. 2. To warp or crack with noise (as, a plank exposed to the sun).

تپيدن tapīdan P s. m. Palpitating, flouncing, agitation, tremour. تپيدن وار tapīdan-wār, adj. Agitated, troubled. S. تت तत् (or तद्) tat, pron. dem. That.

تفرس tafarrus A (inf. v. of فراست) s. m. 1. In- telligence, understanding, discernment. 2. Judging from physiognomy.

تپ tap S 1. (तप) s. f. Heat, warmth. 2. (तपः) s. m. Devout austerity, religious pe- nance.
