پيڙها pīṛhā पीठ S̱. s. m. A stool or chair.

پست past P adj. Low, abject, lower, below. پست فطرت past-fit̤rat, adj. Of inferiour un- derstanding, low, base. پست همت past him- mat, adj. Low-minded, mean-spirited, un- ambitious. پست همتي past-himmat-ī, s. f. Low-mindedness, mean-spiritedness. پست وبلندديکهنا past o buland dekhnā, To consider and take precautions against the vicissitudes of for- tune.

پنياتما पुण्यात्मा puṇyātmā S adj. Virtuous, holy, religious, charitable.

پنسلا pansallā S̱. (पानीयशाला) s. m. A stand where water is provided for passengers.

پهبتي phabtī H (from پهبنا) s. f. Ornament, conjecturing what a person is by his dress. پهبتي کـﮩنا phabtī kahnā, v. a. To say what is conjectured by oneʼs dress.

پهاک phāk H s. m. (dakh.) See پهانک phānk.

پيٿهالنا paiṭhālnā S̱. (caus. of پيٿهنا q. v.) To force in, to make to penetrate, to thrust, to run in, to introduce, to insinuate.

پچيسي pachīs-ī S̱. s. f. A game played with kauṛīs instead of dice, and so named from the highest throw, which is twenty five.

پبترا pabitrā पवित्र S̱. s. m. A brāhmanical thread, a string of silken beads, a knotted piece of kusha grass used in religious ceremonies of the Hindūs.
