پيچ pech P (from پيچيدن) s. m. f. 1. Twist, revo- lution, a coil, a plait, fold. 2. A screw. 3. Perplexity, ambiguity, maze, difficulty, trouble. 4. Deceit. 5. Complication, involution. پيچ اٿهانا pech uṭhānā, To suffer loss or distress. پيچ اکهڙنا pech ukhaṛnā, v. n. To loosen (the twist of any thing). پيچ باندهنا pech bāndhnā, To grapple in wrestling. پيچ پاچ pech-pāch or پيچ پانچ pech-pānch, s. m. To seize in wrestling, to grapple. پيچ کهانا pech khānā, 1. To coil. 2. پهٿکي phuṭkī S̱. adj. See پهٿ phuṭ.

پيوندي paiwand-ī P adj. Ingrafted. پيوندي بير paiwandī ber, s. m. An ingrafted ber (Zizy- phus jujuba). پيوندي موچهين paiwandī mūch- heṅ, s. f. The whiskers joining the beard.

پهيکا phīkā H adj. 1. Weak, vapid, tasteless, insipid. 2. Pale, sallow, light (in colour).

پچپچا pichpichā H adj. Flabby, watery, clammy.

پوت pūt पुत्र S̱. s. m. A son. پوت زنبورا pūt- zambūrā, s. m. A young monkey.

پچهيت pichhet S̱. (from پيچها) s. m. The back of a house: a yard or enclosure behind a house.

پٿراني paṭ-rānī S̱. (پاٿ A throne, and راني A queen) s. f. A queen who is installed or consecrated with the king.

پاٿا pāṭā पट्ट S̱. s. m. A plank on which washer- men beat clothes.

پـﮩنانا pahnānā S̱. or pahinānā (causal of پـﮩنا pa- hannā, q. v.) v. a. To dress, to cause to put on.
