اننت अनन्त an-ant S 1. adj. Endless, eternal. 2. s. m. The chief of the Nāgas or serpent race that inhabit the infernal regions: the conch and constant attendant of Vish̤ṇu. 3. A cord with fourteen knots, which the Hindūs tie on their arm, on the fourteenth day of bhādoṅ, sukal pachchh̤, which is sacred to Vishnu, and called اننت چودس or اننت چتردسي.
