پنجاب panj-āb P (پنج آب) s. m. Name of a country. (Sans. पंचनद).

پيمانه paimāna P s. m. 1. A goblet. 2. A cer- tain dry measure. پيمانه عمرکا بهرنا paimāna uﻌmr kā bharnā, v. a. To fill up the measure of oneʼs age, i. e. To die or kill.

پوڙهاٴي pauṛhā-ī प्रौढता S̱. s. f. 1. Strength, firmness. 2. Breadth.

پتال pattāl S̱. (पाताल in Hindū mythology) s. m. The infernal regions or a place under the earth.

پيبيانا pībiyānā S̱. (from پيب) v. n. To suppu- rate.

پـﮩناوا pahanāwā S̱. (from پـﮩنا) s. m. Clothing, dress.

پيٿهـ paiṭh H s. m. 1. A duplicate (of a bill of exchange). 2. (from پيٿهنا) Entrance, ingress, admission, access.

پنچمين panchamīṅ S̱. s. f. The fifth day of the lunar fortnight.

پاؤن pāʼoṅ S̱. Same as پانو pāṅw, q. v. or the plur. inflection (for پانوون). پاؤن پرتيشه مارلينا pāʼoṅ par tesha mār lenā, Of oneʼs self to spoil oneʼs own affair. پاؤن دهول pāʼoṅ dhūl, Misfortune: see آسيب āseb. S. پاون पावन (r. पू Purify) pāwan, adj. Pure, holy, sacred, purifying.
