پهڙکانا phaṛkānā H (caus. of پهڙکنا) v. a. 1. To cause to flutter, to cause convulsive motion in the muscles, &c. 2. (met.) To show.

پهسلي phaslī S̱. s. f. See پسلي paslī.

پنپانا panpānā H (caus. of پنپنا) v. a. To cause to flourish, to promote the prosperity of ano- ther, to refresh. (Little used).

پتلانا pitlānā S̱. (from پيتل) v. n. To be contami- nated with verdigrise (as food, especially of an acid quality, kept in copper vessels).

پهلي phalī फलक S̱. s. f. A shield.

پهٿک phiṭik H s. m. (dakh.) Trap, cage.

پيپلا pīplā H s. m. The point of a sword.

پچهاڙي pichhāṛī S̱. (from पश्चात् Behind) s. f. 1. The rear. 2. The ropes by which a horseʼs hind legs are tied. 3. adv. In the rear, be- hind. پچهاڙي مارنا pichhāṛī mārnā, To attack in the rear.

پهوهڙ phūhaṛ H 1. adj. f. Undisciplined, un- educated; stupid; obscene, foolish, rude (ap- plied to women). 2. s. f. A bad housewife, a slut or slattern. پهوهڙپن يا پنا phūhaṛ-pan or -panā, s. m. Stupidity, &c.

پهکڙ phakkaṛ H s. m. Wrangling, mutual abuse, brawl, raillery. پهکڙباز phakkaṛ-bāz, An abuser, an indecent chatterer.
