پگنا pagnā S̱. (from पाक) v. n. To be dipped in or covered with sirup; (met.) to be in love.

To lay aside concealment. پرده دار parda-dār, Confidential. پرده در parda-dar, A betrayer of secrets. پرده دري parda-dar-ī, The betraying of secrets. پرده رکهنا parda rakhnā, To give ob- scure hints, or to relate a matter in such terms as to be understood by part only of the hearers. پرده فاش parda-fāsh, Betraying secrets. پرده کرنا parda karnā, To conceal. پرده کسي کاپهاڙنا parda kisī kā phāṛnā, or پرده کسي کاکهولنا parda kisī kā kholnā, To reveal the faults of another. پرده نشين parda-nishīn, Remaining behind the curtain; modest. پردي مين سوراخ کرنا parde meṅ sūrāḵẖ karnā, Spoken of a woman who secretly indulges licentious practices.

پاولا pāʼolā S̱. (from پاو) s. m. A quarter of any coin (as, of a rupee, &c.).

پريرنا प्रेरणा preraṇā S (प्र and r. ईर Drive) s. m. 1. The act of sending. 2. Command.

پتبرتا patibratā S (पतिव्रता) adj. f. Chaste (woman).

پهوس phūs H s. m. Old dry grass or straw. پهوس مين چنگاري ڐالنا phūs meṅ chingārī ḍālnā, To excite contention or strife.

پهکوڙيا phakoṛiyā H s. m. A fop, an absurd prattler, an indecent talker.

پهل phul S̱. s. m. (dakh.) See پهول phūl.

پگيا pagiyā H s. f. A turband.

پوپلا poplā H adj. One whose teeth are fallen out, toothless.
