پراه parāh पलाय S̱. s. f. Flight, a general emi- gration.

پاٿ pāṭ पट्ट S̱. s. m. 1. Silk. 2. A millstone. 3. A throne, seat. 4. A board, shutter, plank, slab, plank on which washermen beat clothes.

پنـﮩارا panhārā पानीयहर S̱. s. m. A man who carries water in pots on his head.

پروهن parohan S̱. (प्रारोहण from प्र, आ and r. रुह Mount) s. m. Carriage, vehicle, instruments of transportation.

پهاوڙي phāʼoṛī H s. f. 1. A crutch on which a jogī leans. 2. A piece of wood or staff with a support at each end, which is held in both hands and laid horizontally, in performing the exercise of ḍanḍ. 3. An instrument like a small rake or hoe for removing a horseʼs dung.

پاٴين pāʼiṅ H s. f. Pins used by weavers to wind off the warp from.

پاؤن pāʼoṅ S̱. Same as پانو pāṅw, q. v. or the plur. inflection (for پانوون). پاؤن پرتيشه مارلينا pāʼoṅ par tesha mār lenā, Of oneʼs self to spoil oneʼs own affair. پاؤن دهول pāʼoṅ dhūl, Misfortune: see آسيب āseb. S. پاون पावन (r. पू Purify) pāwan, adj. Pure, holy, sacred, purifying.
