پهرپهنديا pharphandiyā H adj. Deceitful, trea- cherous, wicked.

پلپلانا pulpulānā H v. n. 1. To fear, to dread. 2. To take a morsel into the mouth, and from the want of teeth, being unable to chew, to turn it about.

Trouble of mind. پريشان کرنا pare- shān karnā, To perplex, confuse, confound, trou- ble, distract, perturb, disorder, derange. پريشان کـﮩنا pareshān kahnā, To talk foolishly from ab- sence of mind. پريشان گوٴي pareshān-go-ī, s. f. Confused or absurd talk. پريشان نظري pare- shān-naz̤ar-ī, s. f. Confusion of sight.

پهٿکي phuṭkī S̱. adj. See پهٿ phuṭ.

پٿا paṭā S̱. s. m. 1. (पट्टिश) A foil, a wooden scimitar for cudgelling with. پٿي باز paṭe-bāz, (1.) A fencer, a cudgeller. (2.) (met.) A co- quette, a wanton, a strumpet. پٿاکاٿنا paṭā kāṭ- nā, v. a. To discharge from service. ¶ 2. (पट्ट) A board on which Hindūs sit whilst eating their meals or performing religious cere- monies.

پن pun S̱. 1. (or puni for पुनः) adv. Again, but, on the contrary. 2. (or punya for पुण्य) s. m. Virtue, moral or religious merit. See پنياٴي punyāʼī.
