پيڙو peṛū S̱. (from पेट) s. m. The belly below the navel, pubes.

پادراز pā-darāz P adj. Contented, tranquil, at ease.

پيلباني pīl-bān-ī P s. f. The business of taking care of elephants.

بيزنه pezna P (from پيزيدن or پيختن) s. m. A sieve.

پهبنا phabnā H v. n. To become, befit, fit.

پخال paḵẖāl S̱. (पयस् Water, and खल्ल Leather) s. f. A large leather bag for carrying water, generally on bullocks. Properly, پکهال q. v.

پلا pallā P s. m. One scale (or side of a pair of scales): see پله palla. پلاباندهنا pallā bāndhnā, To enter the lists against an enemy. پلي پرکسيکي آنا palle par kisī ke ānā, To assist, to favour, to side with. پلي دار palle-dār, A por- ter who has bags to carry burthens. پلي داري palle-dār-ī, s. f. The business of a porter.

پيٿيا peṭiyā S̱. (from پيٿ) s. m. A pension, daily food, board.

پرياگ प्रयाग prayāg S s. m. A celebrated place of pilgrimage, the confluence of the Ganges and Jamunā with the supposed subterraneous addi- tion of the Saraswatī; the modern Ilāhābād.

پدو paddū S̱. (from پاد or पर्द्द) adj. Having the quality of farting. (Met.) A coward.
