پيوڙي peʼoṛī H s. f. A kind of yellow colour (said to be obtained from the urine of a cow, fed on the flowers of Butea frondosa, or, ac- cording to others, on the leaves of the mango tree). S. پيوس पीयूष or पेयूष pīyūs or peyūs, s. m. The milk of a cow for some days after calving, biestings.

پيغامبري paig̠ẖāmbar-ī P s. f. Mission (especially, as a prophet).

پرتاب partāb P s. m. Bow-shot, the range of an arrow, musket, &c.

پرميسور परमेश्वर parameswar S s. m. The first and supreme Lord, God, the Almighty.

پڙها paṛhā S̱. (from پڙهنا) part. pass. Read, learn- ed, of much reading. پڙهاگنا paṛhā-gunā, adj. A learned, experienced man.

پاڙا pāṛā H s. m. A quarter of a town, a ward.

پرواٴي parwā-ī P (from پروا) adj. One who stands in need of, necessitated, having occasion for.

پلانا palānā P. s. m. The same as پالان q. v. P.H. پلانا palānnā (from پالان) v. a. To saddle a horse or bullock.
