پهلواري phul-wārī S̱. (फुल्ल A flower, and वाटी A garden) s. f. A flower- garden.

پليت palīt S̱. (perhaps, for प्रेत) s. m. A ghost.

پڙاپڙ paṛāpaṛ S̱. adv. With reiterated strokes.

پنگاس pangās H s. f. Name of a fish. (Silurus sagittatus. Buch.).

پدمني padmanī पद्मिनी S̱. s. f. A description of woman, the most excellent of the four classes into which womankind is divided by the Hin- dūs. (The names of the other three are chitri- ṇī, sankhinī and hastinī).

پخال paḵẖāl S̱. (पयस् Water, and खल्ल Leather) s. f. A large leather bag for carrying water, generally on bullocks. Properly, پکهال q. v.
