پورا pūrā पूर्ण S̱. adj. Full, complete, entire, ex- act, perfect, sufficient, just, total, ripe, power- ful. پوراکرنا pūrā karnā, v. a. To fill, to fulfil, to accomplish, to complete; to reimburse.

پلانا pilānā S̱. (caus. of پينا) v. a. To give or cause to drink.

پستانا pastānā पश्वात्तापन S̱. v. n. To regret. See پچهتانا pachhtānā.

پشم pashm P s. f. 1. Wool, hair, fur; a thing of no moment. 2. Pubes tum maris tum feminæ. پشم پرمارنا pashm par mārnā, To be perfectly contented and independent, to despise, to dis- regard. پشم سمجهنا pashm samajhnā, To des- pise. پشم نه اکهڙنا pashm na ukhaṛnā, To suffer nothing from the enmity of another, not a hair of the head to be touched. (Spoken in great contempt of an adversary).

پرجنک parjank पर्य्यंक S̱. s. m. A bedstead.

پسانا pisānā S̱. (पेषण r. पिष Grind, reduce to powder) v. a. To reduce to meal, to grind.

پهينکنا phenknā क्षेपण S̱. v. a. To throw, to fling, to dart, to let fly (a hawk, &c. at game), to set off (a horse) at full speed, to gallop.

پيت pīt S 1. adj. (पीत) Yellow. 2. s. f. or pīti (for प्रिति) Love, affection, kindness, friendship. پيت کي پيت رهي اورميت کاميت هاتهـ لگي pīt kī pīt rahe aur mīt kā mīt hāth lage, Let friendship continue and the sweets or benefits of it will be obtained.
