پاٿنا pāṭnā H v. a. 1. To roof, to cover, to shut. 2. To fill, fill up, overstock, heap, pile, accu- mulate. 3. To water, irrigate. 4. To pay.

پٿرا paṭrā पट्ट S̱. s. m. 1. A plank, a plank to sit on, a plank on which a washerman beats clothes. 2. Unripe grain. (Cicer arietinum). پٿراکردينا paṭrā kar denā, v. n. To deprive one of his power or strength, to convict an adver- sary and leave him without reply.
