بڙا baṛā वड् S̱. adj. Large, great, big, greater, senior, elder, eldest, principal, &c. بڙارستاپکڙنا baṛā rastā pakaṛnā, To die. بڙاکرنا baṛā kar- nā, 1. To enlarge, to exalt, to promote. 2. To extinguish, to put out (a lamp, &c. as to use the direct phrase is deemed unlucky). بڙي پيٿ والاهونا baṛe peṭ wālā honā, To be patient. S̱. H. بڙاپا barā-pā (from بڙا) s. m.
