بهمبهيري bhambherī H s. f. A butterfly.

بکل bakul S (वकुल) s. m. Name of a tree. (Same as مولسري. Mimusops elengi).

بيونگا byongā H s. m. The instrument with which leather is scraped and cleaned. بيونگاپهرانـﮩين byongā phirā nahīṅ, His hide has not been curried yet (said of a spoiled child, &c.).

بارد bārid A (from برد) adj. Cold.

باخا bāḵẖā P (for باخه) s. m. A tortoise.

بهروسا bharosā S̱. (भद्राशा from भद्र Good, and आशा Hope, desire), s. m. Hope, dependence, reliance, faith, assurance, confidence. بهروساکرنا bharosā karnā, To confide, to hope, to rely (on).

بيضا baiẓā A 1. adj. White. 2. s. m. The Sun. يدبيضادکهانا yad-i-baiẓā dikhānā, v. a. To dis- tinguish oneʼs self in any work (an allusion taken from the luminous hand of Moses). A.P. بيضانه baiẓ-āna, s. m. The perquisite of the magistrate, &c. for marking publick papers.

برهملوک ब्रह्मलोक brahma-lok S s. m. The re- gion or heaven of Brahmā.

بيستون besitūn P n. prop. A celebrated mountain in Persia, which Farhād dug through at the command of his mistress Shīrīn.
