بعلزبوب baʼaﻌlzabūb A s. m. Belzebub.

باغي bāg̠ẖī A part. act. (from بغي or بغاوت) Mutineer, traitor, rebel.

بالاپوش bālā-posh P s. m. A coverlet, a quilt.

برکات barakāt A plur. (of برکت barakat, Heb. ) s. f. Blessings, auspiciousness, pros- perity. بابرکات bā-barakāt, adj. Fortunate, prosperous, fortunate in every undertaking and communicating good fortune to every thing one is concerned in, productive of advantage and success.

بستني bastanī P s. f. A cloth for binding toge- ther bundles of paper, books, ink-stands, &c.

بگاڙنا bigāṛnā H (trans. of بگڙنا) v. a. 1. To spoil, mar, damage, injure, ruin, bungle. 2. To cause misunderstanding between friends.

بـﮩمنيٿا bahmaneṭā S̱. s. m. A young Brāhman.

بهچ bhuch H adj. Barbarous, ignorant.

بوٿا būṭā H s. m. A flower (particularly, worked on cloth or painted on paper, &c.), a bush, a shrub. بوٿا قد būṭā-ḳadd, is applied to describe the small stature and exquisite proportion of a beloved person. بوٿي دار būṭe-dār, Flowered (cloth).
