بادپا bād-pā P s. m. A swift horse, courser.

بهانت bhānt H or bhānti, s. f. Manner, mode, method, kind, sort. بهانت بهانت bhānt-bhānt or bhānti-bhānti, adj. Various.

بهل بهل اجالا bhal bhal ujālā S̱. s. m. Dawn or break of day. S̱.H. بهل پن bhal-pan, s. m. Goodness.

بٿنا baṭnā S̱. (r. वट or वड Wrap round, entwine: divide, share) 1. v. a. To twist, to form by convolution (as ropes): to divide, share: to gain, to make profit. 2. v. n. To be divided, to be twisted. 3. s. m. An instrument with which ropes are twisted.

بوتا būtā S̱. (from भवन See هوت and هونا) s. m. Strength, power, ability.

بلاول bilāwal H s. f. Name of a rāginī.

بچهڙنا bichhuṛnā S̱. or bichhaṛnā (वि and r. छुट Cut) v. n. To separate, to be separated.

بيس bais S̱. s. m. 1. (for वैश्य) The third of the four Hindū tribes or varns: see برن. 2. Name of a tribe of Rājpūts. (A prince of that tribe formerly reigned at Daunriākherā. His dominions, which extended over a great part of Oude, on the north bank of the Ganges, are still called Bais-wāṛā). 3. (for वयस्) Age.

بست bast S̱. (or bastu, for वस्तु) s. f. Thing, matter, substance, chattels, goods, baggage.
