بيٿهانا baiṭhānā S̱. (caus. of بيٿهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sit down, seat, set, settle, place, station, apply, plant, calm, becalm.

بڙيون مين ملنا baṛyauṅ meṅ milnā S̱. To be grown up.

برئي baraʼī H s. m. A seller of betel leaf, a culti- vator of betel.

بيضوي baiẓawī A (from بيضه) adj. Fashioned in the shape of an egg. خط بيضوي ḵẖat̤t̤-i-baiẓawī, s. m. A form of the Persian Nastaﻌlīḳ charac- ter, in which the curved tails of the letters are segments of an oval: opposed to خط آفتابي ḵẖat̤t̤-i-āftābī, in which they are portions of a circle.

بردار bar-dār P part. in compos. (from برداشتن) Taker up, carrier, bearer, holding or raising up. So سونٿي بردار Club-bearer, &c.

بدل badal A s. m. Exchange, substitution, re- taliation; (postpos.) In exchange, for. بدل لينا badal lenā, To exchange, to take in exchange. بدل مال badal-i-māl, s. m. Price, barter.

بهگوان bhagwāṅ H s. m. Cloth dyed with گيرو (a kind of red chalk or ochre).

بهاگڙ bhāgaṛ H (from بهاگنا) s. f. Flight, a gene- ral emigration, escape, immediate danger.
