بخش baḵẖsh P 1. part. act. (from بخشيدن) in compos. Giving, imparting, bestowing, forgiving; giver, forgiver. 2. s. m. Share, portion, lot, forgiveness. بخش دينا baḵẖsh denā, To give, to bestow, to forgive. P.H. بخشانا baḵẖshānā (caus. of بخشنا) v. a. To cause to give, to procure pardon for another.

بگدانا bagdānā H (trans. of بگدنا) v. a. To cause to return, to put to the rout.

بـﮩم ba-ham P (for باهم q. v.) adv. Together, one with another, one against another. بـﮩم آنا ba- ham-ānā, To be procured, to be acquired. بـﮩم پـﮩنچانا baham pahunchānā, v. a. To get, ac- quire, procure. بـﮩم پـﮩنچنا baham pahunchnā, v. n. To be procured. بـﮩم ديگر baham-dīgar, Together, one with another.

بان bān S̱. 1. s. f. Temper, quality, manners. (Sans. वर्ण Kind, quality). 2. (or vāṇ वाण) s. m. An arrow; a rocket used in battle. 3. The name of an Asur, son of Rājā Bali. 4. (for वान) The high tide in the Indian rivers commonly called the Bore. 5. A kind of rope made of مونج mūnj, used to form the bottoms of beds as well as for other purposes.
