بني banī H s. f. A bride.

بهانجي bhānjī S̱. s. f. 1. (भागिनेयी) A sisterʼs daughter, a niece. 2. (भंजनी) Interruption, hinderance. 3. Talebearing. بهانجي خور bhānjī- ḵẖor, s. m. An interrupter, a talebearer. بهانجي کهانا bhānjī khānā, v. a. To give malicious in- telligence. بهانجي دينايامارنا bhānjī-denā or -mārnā, v. a. To interrupt, to put a stop to, to break in upon.

برکت barakat A s. f. Blessing, abundance, pros- perity, auspiciousness, an inherent prosperity which produces success or abundance. برکت دينا barakat denā, To bless, to prosper.

بهراوٿ bharāwaṭ S̱. (r. भृ Fill) s. f. Filling, stuf- fing.

بغلي bag̠ẖl-ī P (from بغل) 1. adj. Relating to the armpit, axillary. 2. s. f. A disorder in camels when they rub the thigh against the belly. 3. A purse. 4. A kind of dumb bell used in exer- cise. 5. A sort of dress, the bottom of which is under the armpits. 6. The action of a bird putting its head under its wing. بغلي تکيه bag̠ẖlī takiya, A bolster for the sides.

بدهاوا badhāwā H s. m. 1. A song in congratu- lation. 2. Presents, &c. carried to the house of a woman on the sixth or fortieth day after childbirth.

بگهنها baghnah ā व्याघ्रनख S. s. m. Name of a medicinal herb with a fragrant root.

بندنوار bandanwār S̱. (from बंधन Binding, and वार Door-way, gate) s. f. A wreath or garland of leaves and flowers suspended across gateways on marriages or publick festivals.

بترانا batrānā S̱. (from वार्त्ता) v. n. To talk, to converse, to speak.
