بنده banda P s. m. A slave, a servant, bonds- man. بنده پرور banda-parwar, Cherisher of ser- vants (a respectful expression used in addressing a superiour; as, your honour!). بنده پروري ban- da-parwar-ī, s. f. Cherishing of servants. بندۀدرگاه banda-i-dargāh, The slave of (your) thresh- old. بنده زاده banda-zāda, Son of (your) slave, i. e. my son. بنده نواز banda-nawāz, Cherisher of servants or dependants, patron. (Pers. plur. بندگان or بندها).

برجا bar-jā P In place; accurate, right, true.

باغ bāg̠ẖ P s. m. A garden, orchard, grove. باغ باغ هوناياهوجانا bāg̠ẖ bāg̠ẖ honā yā hojānā, v. n. To be delighted. باغ سبزدکهانايادکهلانا bāg̠ẖ-i-sabz dikhānā yā dikhlānā, To excite de- sire and expectation by deceitful promises.

بچهڙاٿ bichhaṛāṭ S̱. s. Separation.

بهچگ bhachak S̱. or bhichak (भजचकित) adj. Alarmed, aghast, starting. بهچک رهنا bhachak rahnā, To be amazed or astonished at a sudden or unexpected event.

بدهوان बुद्धिवान् buddhi-wān S adj. m. Wise, intelligent.

بـﮩبـﮩا bahbahā S̱. (r. वह Flow) adj. 1. Flowing, gliding along. 2. Brave, bold. 3. Publick, notorious.

بوند būnd विंदु S̱. s. f. A drop. بوندکي بوند būnd kī būnd, Rectified, twice distilled (spirit, &c.).

بسن basan S (वसन) s. m. Cloth; a dress, a habit, a suit of clothes, apparel, attire.

باده bāda P s. m. Wine, spirits. باده پرست bāda- parast, adj. Addicted to wine; drunkard. باده کش bāda-kash, Wine-drawer. باده کشي bāda- kash-ī, s. f. Wine-drawing. باده گسار bāda-gusār, or باده نوش bāda-nosh, wine-drinker. باده نوشي bāda-nosh-ī, s. f. Wine-drinking.
