بنياکنڐا banayā kanḍā S̱. s. m. Cow-dung dried for fuel (not made up). See under s. بن ban.

بادرنگ bād-rang P s. m. A sort of cucumber.

بـﮩو bahū S̱. (बधू A woman, a female) s. f. 1. A daughter-in-law, a sonʼs wife. 2. A wife.

بيٿهالنا baiṭhālnā S̱. (caus. of بيٿهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sit down, seat, set, settle, place, station, apply, plant, calm, becalm.

بهيرون bhairoṅ भैरव S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a rāg or musical mode sung at dawn in autumn. (It is represented by Mahādeva with the Ganges flowing from his head and the rāg issuing from that deityʼs mouth). 2. A name of Siva; see بهيرو bhairav.

برن baran S̱. 1. (वर्ण) s. m. Colour, sort, class; one of the four tribes among the Hindūs (viz. 1, ब्राह्मण 2, क्षत्रिय 3, वैश्य 4, शूद्र). 2. A letter of an alphabet. 3. Praise, description. 4. (वरम्) conj. Moreover, but even, rather. برن کرنا baran karnā (from Sans. वरणं) To hire a priest for the performance of a sacrifice or any religious ceremony.

بابر bābar H s. m. A kind of sweetmeat.
