بني banī A s. m. plur. (of ابن Heb. ) Sons. بني آدم banī ādam, Sons of Adam; men. بني اسرايل banī isrāʼīl, Children of Israel, Israelites. بني جان banī jān, Beings who inhabited the world before Adam; genii, fairies.

بيادهي byādhī S̱. 1. (for व्याधी) adj. Ill, sick. 2. (for व्याध) s. m. A hunter, a fowler.

بروج burūj A s. plur. (of برج) Bastions, towers, signs of the zodiack.

بهرت भरत bharat S n. prop. Name of the son of Dasaratha and Kaikeyī, and younger bro- ther of Rāmachandra. بهرت کنڐ bharat-khanḍ, s. m. One of the nine divisions of the world, be- tween Lankā and Sumeru; India.
