بيرا bīrā H s. m. A brother.

بگ bag वक S̱. See s. بک bak. بگپانت bag- pānti, s. f. A row or line of cranes. بگ چال bag-chāl, s. f. Walking slowly (like a crane). S̱. H. بگ چهندالگنا bag-chhandā lagnā (باگهـ A ti- ger, and چهاندنا To tether) v. n. To be stu- pified or petrified with fear at the sight of a tiger.

بلده balda A s. m. A city, a town.

بهنڐ bhanḍ H s. m. Confusion, spoiling. بهنڐهونا bhanḍ honā, v. n. To be destroyed, to be spoiled.

بهگوت भगवत् bhagawat S adj. Divine.

بهيکهـ भेष bhekh̤ S s. m. Disguise, assumed ap- pearance, semblance. See بهيکهدهاري .بهيس bhekh̤dhārī, adj. Putting on the dress, assuming the appearance.

بروگ birog S̱. (वि and योग Junction) s. m. Separation, absence.

بڙهانا baṛhānā S̱. (trans. of بڙهنا) v. a. 1. To in- crease, augment, enlarge, to lengthen, to make advance, to forward, to exalt, elevate, to raise, to promote, aggrandize, rear up, extend, stretch out, amplify, dilate. 2. To extinguish. 3. To shut up (a shop). 4. To remove the tablecloth.

بادام bādām P (Sans. बाताम्र) s. m. An almond.
