بلولا balūlā बुद्बुद S̱. s. m. A bubble.

بهيرون bhairoṅ भैरव S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a rāg or musical mode sung at dawn in autumn. (It is represented by Mahādeva with the Ganges flowing from his head and the rāg issuing from that deityʼs mouth). 2. A name of Siva; see بهيرو bhairav.

بيجنا bījnā S̱. s. m. A fan. See بجنا bijnā.

بسواس biswās S (विश्वास) s. m. Trust, confi- dence, faith. بسواس گهات biswās-ghāt, s. f. Taking advantage of the confidence of others, treacherous friendship. بسواسگهاتي biswās-ghāt-ī, s. m. A treacherous friend, one who seeks to take advan- tage of the confidence placed in him.

بر bar H s. m. Breadth (of cloth).

بالي bālī S̱. s. f. 1. (बालिका) A female child. 2. (बाली) An earring worn in the ear passing through the centre of it.

بيگانه begāna P adj. Strange, not domestick, not an acquaintance or friend, foreign, unknown; stranger. بيگانه خو begāna-ḵẖo, Of an unfriendly or savage disposition. بيگانه وضع begāna-waẓﻌ, adj. Strange-mannered. بيگانه وضعي begāna- waẓʼīﻌ, s. f. Strangeness of manners.

باقي bāḳī A part. act. (from بقا) Remaining, per- manent, lasting, extant, eternal; (used substan- tively) remnant, remainder, balance, arrear. باقي دار bāḳī-dār, Owing a balance. باقي رهنا bāḳī rahnā, To remain, to be left, to be saved.

بهانڐن bhānḍin S̱. s. f. An actress.
