بکٿ bukkaṭ H or بکٿا bukṭā, s. m. A claw.

باندهنو bāndhnū S̱. (r. बध Bind) s. m. 1. A mode of dying, in which the cloth is tied in different places to prevent the parts tied from receiving the die. 2. Slander, plot, plan. 3. A kind of silk cloth. 4. A kind of parrot.

بهجنگا bhujangā S̱. s. m. A kind of shrike. (Lanius cærulescens. Sans. भृंग). بهجنگي اڙانا bhujange- uṛānā, 1. To be in great distress and poverty. 2. To spread false reports.

بيمات be-māt विमाता S̱. s. f. A step-mother. بيمات بهاٴي bemāt-bhāʼī, A brother born of a different mother by the same father, a half bro- ther by the fatherʼs side.

بهيجا bhejā H s. m. The brain.

بلونڐ bal-wanḍ S̱. adj. Powerful.

بيستون besitūn P n. prop. A celebrated mountain in Persia, which Farhād dug through at the command of his mistress Shīrīn.
