بسوه biswa S̱. (from بيس Twenty) s. m. The twen- tieth part (particularly, of a بيگها bīghā). See کٿها kaṭṭhā.

بهرکٿي bhirkuṭī S or bhr̤ikuṭī (भृकुटी) s. f. 1. The eyebrow. 2. A frown, a contraction of the brows. P.A. بـﮩرکيف ba-har-kaif, adv. By any means.

بدلي badlī S̱. (dimin. of بادل q. v.) s. f. 1. Cloudiness. 2. A small bit of cloud.

به جانا bah-jānā S̱. or bahi-jānā (from بـﮩنا) v. n. 1. To flow, pass. 2. To go or swim with the stream. 3. To be ruined, to be destroyed.

بهجنا bhajnā S̱. (भजन r. भज Worship) v. a. To worship, to count oneʼs beads, to adore.

برانا birānā H v. a. To mock.

بهنبهناهٿ bhimbhināhaṭ H s. f. Buzzing (of a fly), buzz, hum (of a bee).

بت but P s. m. An idol, image, statue; a be- loved object, a mistress. (Plur. بتان). بت پرست but-parast, An idolater. بت برستي but- parast-ī, s. f. Idolatry. بت تراش but-tarāsh, A sculptor, a carver of idols. بت تراشي but- tarāsh-ī, s. f. The art of a sculptor, sculpture, statuary. بتخانه but-ḵẖāna, s. m. An idol- temple.

بنياين banyāyan S̱. or banyāʼin, s. f. Wife of a بنيا (shopkeeper, &c.) q. v.
