بوڙها būṛhā वृद्ध S̱. adj. Old; an old man. بوڙهاآرها būṛhā ārhā, Old man, eldest man.

برها barhā H s. m. A field where cows feed.

بجهنا bujhnā H v. n. To be extinguished, to be put out, to be quenched (thirst), to be damped or dejected (the spirits, &c.).

Unlucky, unfortunate, wretched, rascally. بدبختي bad-baḵẖt-ī, s. f. Misfor- tune, bad luck, adversity. بدبر bad-bar, adj. Evilminded. بدبو bad-bū, 1. adj. Fetid. 2. s. f. Stink. بدپرهيز bad-parhez, adj. Not controuling oneʼs inclinations and passions, in- temperate. بدپشمي bad-pashmī, s. f. Badness of hair or wool, bad coat (of a horse, &c.). بدچشم bad-chashm, adj. Malignant, envious, coveting other menʼs goods (particularly, wives). بدحال bad-ḥāl, adj. In bad circumstances, ill-conditioned. بدحالي bad-ḥāl-ī, s. f. Badness of condition or of circumstances. بدحواس bad-ḥawāss, adj. Senseless, stupified, in consterna- tion. بدحواسي bad-ḥawass-ī, s. f. Stupidity,

برديت bardait H s. m. A panegyrist, a bard.

برج bruj H s. m. A large track rope (a small one being called گن guṇ).
