بنا bannā H v. n. 1. To be made, to be prepared, to be mended or adjusted. 2. To chime, to agree, to fall in with, to do, to answer, to serve, to be, to become, to avail, to counterfeit, to suc- ceed. 3. s. m. A bridegroom. بنابنايا banā banāyā, Finished, ready made, complete, entire, perfect. بناچنا banā chunā, Dressed, decked out, arranged. بناٿهنا bannā ṭhannā, To be fully adorned or prepared, to be decked out. بنارهنا banā rahnā, To remain waiting.

ببري baburī S̱. (वर्वुर) s. f. The name of a tree of the Mimosa kind. (There are several species, but the commonest is Arabica. Roxb.) The acacia tree.

بهلا bhalā S̱. (Sans. भद्र) adj. 1. Good, excellent, benevolent, kind, healthy, well, virtuous, right- eous, sound. 2. Strange, wonderful, admirable, comical, droll. بهلاآدمي bhalā ādmī, s. m. A person of respectability, a gentleman; (iron.) a silly fellow. بهلاماننا bhalā mānnā, To take well.

بين bīn P part. act. (from ديدن) in compos. Seeing, beholding, looking, regarding. S̱. بين 1. ben or benu or bain (for वेणु) s. f. A flute, pipe, fife. 2. bīn (for वीणा) s. f. A kind of lute. (See Asiat. Res., vol. i. art. xiii.). 3. bain (for वाणी) s. m. f. A word, speech.
