باقيات bāḳiyāt A s. plur. (of باقي) Remainders, balances, arrears.

بوک bok वर्कर S̱. s. m. A he goat, a ram.

بگچهوٿ bag-chhūṭ H (باگ Rein, and چهوٿنا To be let go) s. f. Galloping. بگچهوٿ دوڙنا bag- chhūṭ dauṛnā, To gallop.

بيل bel मल्लि S̱. s. m. The name of a flower. (Jasminum zambac). بيل پهلني bel phalne, To attain oneʼs precise or utmost wish.

باگڐور bāg-ḍor H s. f. A long rein with which horses are led.

به बहु bahu S adj. Much, many.

بڙا baṛā वड् S̱. adj. Large, great, big, greater, senior, elder, eldest, principal, &c. بڙارستاپکڙنا baṛā rastā pakaṛnā, To die. بڙاکرنا baṛā kar- nā, 1. To enlarge, to exalt, to promote. 2. To extinguish, to put out (a lamp, &c. as to use the direct phrase is deemed unlucky). بڙي پيٿ والاهونا baṛe peṭ wālā honā, To be patient. S̱. H. بڙاپا barā-pā (from بڙا) s. m. Grandeur, dig- nity, elevation.

برچهـ वृक्ष brichchh S or vr̤iksh̤a, s. m. A tree in general, a plant.

بهرکٿي bhirkuṭī S or bhr̤ikuṭī (भृकुटी) s. f. 1. The eyebrow. 2. A frown, a contraction of the brows. P.A. بـﮩرکيف ba-har-kaif, adv. By any means.

بجوگي bijog-ī S̱. An unfortunate, a miserable per- son. See بيوگي biyog-ī.
