بتکها bat-kahā S̱. (بت Word, and کها from کهنا To say) adj. Loquacious, conversable.

برن سنکر barn-sankar S̱. (or varṇa-sankara वर्ण संकर) s. m. A person of a tribe originating in the intercourse of a man of one tribe with a woman of another.

بيگار begār H s. m. A person forced to work with or without pay.

بيٿهانا baiṭhānā S̱. (caus. of بيٿهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sit down, seat, set, settle, place, station, apply, plant, calm, becalm.

بهچگ bhachak S̱. or bhichak (भजचकित) adj. Alarmed, aghast, starting. بهچک رهنا bhachak rahnā, To be amazed or astonished at a sudden or unexpected event.

بهنور bhaṅwar S̱. (r. भ्रम Turn round) s. m. A whirlpool, eddy, vortex.

بستي basti वसति S̱. s. f. An abode, a village, a peopled or inhabited place, a population.

بن ban S (वन) s. f. A forest, a wood. بن جاترا ban-jātrā, s. f. The pilgrimage through the 84 forests of Braja. بن جهاڙنا ban-jhāṛnā or بن مارنا ban-mārnā or بن مجهاڙنا ban-majhāṛnā, To beat the forests. بن کنڐا ban-kanḍā or بن گونٿها ban-gonṭhā (Sans. वनगोविट्) Cow-dung found in the forests.

بڙبڙا buṛbuṛā S̱ (see ببللا) s. m. A bubble.

بيٿهالنا baiṭhālnā S̱. (caus. of بيٿهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sit down, seat, set, settle, place, station, apply, plant, calm, becalm.
