برمانا birmānā S̱. (causal of برمنا q. v.) v. a. To stop; to tame, to reduce to obedience, to allure.

بهکهنا bhakhnā भक्षण S̱. v. a. To eat, to de- vour.

بانگ bāng P s. f. Voice, crying out, sound; the voice of the muʼaẕẕin calling Muhammadans to prayer; the crowing of a cock. بانگ دينا bāng denā, To call Muhammadans to prayer. بانگ مارنا bāng mārnā, To cry out, to call.

بروبر barobar P. adj. See برابر bar-ā-bar.

بڙيون مين ملنا baṛyauṅ meṅ milnā S̱. To be grown up.

برهمني brahman-ī S. s. f. See براهمني brāhmaṇ-ī.

بيسن besan H s. m. The flower or meal of pulse (particularly of chanā, Cicer arietinum).
