بيونگا byongā H s. m. The instrument with which leather is scraped and cleaned. بيونگاپهرانـﮩين byongā phirā nahīṅ, His hide has not been curried yet (said of a spoiled child, &c.).

باندهنو bāndhnū S̱. (r. बध Bind) s. m. 1. A mode of dying, in which the cloth is tied in different places to prevent the parts tied from receiving the die. 2. Slander, plot, plan. 3. A kind of silk cloth. 4. A kind of parrot.

بهانڐير भांडीर bhānḍīr S s. m. The Indian fig tree.

بڙا baṛā वड् S̱. adj. Large, great, big, greater, senior, elder, eldest, principal, &c. بڙارستاپکڙنا baṛā rastā pakaṛnā, To die. بڙاکرنا baṛā kar- nā, 1. To enlarge, to exalt, to promote. 2. To extinguish, to put out (a lamp, &c. as to use the direct phrase is deemed unlucky). بڙي پيٿ والاهونا baṛe peṭ wālā honā, To be patient. S̱. H. بڙاپا barā-pā (from بڙا) s. m. Grandeur, dig- nity, elevation.

بگاڙنا bigāṛnā H (trans. of بگڙنا) v. a. 1. To spoil, mar, damage, injure, ruin, bungle. 2. To cause misunderstanding between friends.

بنديجن bandījan S̱. s. m. A sort of ornament.

باڙيا bāṛ-yā S̱. (from باڙ Edge) s. m. A whetter (of swords, knives, &c.).

برشته birishta P part. pass. (of برشتن) Fried, broiled. S. برشکال वर्षकाल (from वर्ष Rain, and काल Season) barshkāl or varsh̤a-kāla, s. m. The rainy season, the rains.

بهال bhāl S̱. (भल्ल or भाल्लुक) s. m. A bear.

بنويا banwaiyā H (from بنانا) s. m. Maker.
