باج bāj H (perhaps for Pers. باز Back, &c.) post- pos. In the separation or absence, besides. Walī says, تجهـ باج جان ودل کون نشاط وطرب نهين In thy absence there is neither joy nor mirth for my soul and heart.

بيوتات buyūtāt A s. plur. of بيت bait, q. v.; household expenses.

بانگ bāng P s. f. Voice, crying out, sound; the voice of the muʼaẕẕin calling Muhammadans to prayer; the crowing of a cock. بانگ دينا bāng denā, To call Muhammadans to prayer. بانگ مارنا bāng mārnā, To cry out, to call.

بلبهانا balbhānā S̱. (from بلبهـ वल्लभ) v. a. To allure. See بلمانا bilmānā.

بيجهنا bījhnā H v. a. 1. To tear up the earth with the horns. 2. To push, to shove, to shoulder.

بهرتا भत्ती bhartā S s. m. A husband.

بسدها basudhā S (वसुधा from वसु Riches, and r. धां Hold) s. f. The world, the earth.

بلولا balūlā बुद्बुद S̱. s. m. A bubble.

بيڙيا beṛiyā H s. m. 1. The name of a cast of Hin- dūs. 2. s̱. dimin. of بيڙا beṛā, q. v.

بگنده bigandh S (विगंध) s. f. Stink, fetor.
