بنمال ban-māl S̱. (वन A forest, and माला A garland) s. f. A garland of various flowers reaching to the feet: usually of the flowers of the tulsī (Ocymum sanctum), kunda (Jasminum multiflorum), mandār (Asclepias gigantea), pā- rijāta (Erythrina fulgens), and lotus.

بيناٴي bīnā-ī P s. f. Sight, eyesight.

بلگنا bilagnā S̱. (वि and r. लग Come in contact) v. n. To separate, be separated; to curdle, to turn (as milk).

باج bāj P s. m. f. A tax, duty, toll, impost, &c. tribute. باجدار bāj-dār, A tax-gatherer, a col- lector of tribute or revenue. باج گذار bāj-guzār, One who pays taxes, duties, &c.

بسواس biswās S (विश्वास) s. m. Trust, confi- dence, faith. بسواس گهات biswās-ghāt, s. f. Taking advantage of the confidence of others, treacherous friendship. بسواسگهاتي biswās-ghāt-ī, s. m. A treacherous friend, one who seeks to take advan- tage of the confidence placed in him.

بودلي bodlī H 1. adj. f. A simple woman, a trol- lop. 2. s. f. A woman who lives with a be-nawā faḳīr and dresses like a man.
