اجناس ajnās A s. f. plur. (of جنس) 1. Kinds, sorts, species. 2. Goods, chattels, merchandise.

اپباد apabād S (अपवाद) s. m. Complaint, accusation, censure.

استدلال istidlāl A (inf. x. of دلالت) s. m. Seeking proof, arguments or reasons; demonstration, argument. S. استر अस्त्र (r. अस Throw) astr, s. m. A mis- sile weapon, a weapon in general.

اشمل ashmal A adj. compar. (of شامل) More or most comprehensive, perfect, complete, surpas- sing, transcendent. S. اشن उष्ण (r. उष Burn, heat) ush̤ṇ, adj. Hot, warm; s. m. Heat, warmth.

انگڙائي angṛāʼī H s. f. Stretching the limbs, a yawning.

احق aḥaḳḳ A adj. compar. (of حقیق) More or very proper or deserving.

اکا ikkā S̱. (Sans. एक) 1. adj. Single, incom- parable, unique, super-excellent. 2. s. m. An ear-ring of a single pearl. 3. An ornament worn on the wrist, often hollow, containing per- fume. 4. A champion who serves alone, with- out being attached to any corps.

ايتنا etnā H adj. So much, &c. see اتنا itnā.

اساژه asāṛh आषाढ S̱. s. m. The name of the Hindū third solar month (June-July, during which the sun is in Gemini, and the full moon is near आषाढा, more commonly called पूर्व्वाषाढा or उत्तराषाढा constellations in Sagittarius).

استاچل अस्ताचल astāchal S s. m. The name of a mountain in the west, behind which the sun is supposed to set.
