اختلاط iḵẖtilāt̤ A (inf. viii. of خلط Ch. He mixed) s. m. Act of mixing, mixture, confu- sion; intercourse, friendship, conversation.

اپوتر अ and पवित्र Clean, pure a-pavitr S. adj. Unclean, defiled, impure, profane.

انرس an-ras S̱. s. m. Want of flavour or enjoy- ment; disgust, coolness or misunderstanding between friends.

آمرزگار āmurz-gār P s. m. He who pardons; pardoner (an epithet of God).

الیچنا ulīchnā H v. a. To throw up water, to bale. H. P. آلي رنگ āl-ī rang, s. m. A colour extract- ed from the āl tree (Morinda citrifolia).

اشرف ashraf A adj. compar. (of شریف) More or most noble, most eminent. s. m. A gentleman, a person of noble birth, a nobleman. اشرف المخلوقات ashrafu-l-maḵẖlūḳāt, The most excel- lent of created beings; mankind. اشرف المکانات ashrafu-l-makānāt, The most eminent of places.

اح uḥ A An exclamation denoting pain. (It is often reiterated, as اح اح uḥ uḥ).

اجگت a-jugat S̱. (अ and युक्त United with, fitted) adj. Unfit; s. f. Violence, oppression, compulsion. ¶ ajgut for ادبهت अद्भुत adbhut, q. v.

آکاس پون ākās-pawan S̱. (Sans. आकाशवल्ली or अमरवल्ली, in Hindī आकाशबेल or अमरबेल) s. m. A plant growing on trees, air-plant or dodder. (Cuscuta reflexa). Hunter.

اتها athā S̱. (अ and स्थान Place) adj. Deep, unfordable, unfathomable, out of manʼs depth.
