هارنا hārnā हारण S̱. v. n. To be overcome, to be unsuccessful, to lose (in play), to be tired out. v. a. To lose. بچن هارنا bachan hārnā, To promise.

هلون hallūṅ S̱. adv. (dakh.) See هلو hallū.

هتهيار hath-yār S̱. or hathiyār (from هاتهہ) s. m. f. A tool, arms, weapon, implements, apparatus. هتهيارباندهنا hathyār bāndhnā, To arm. هتهياربند hathyār-band, Armed.

هتهري hath-arī S̱. s. f. A handle, a winch (of a spinning wheel).

هندولا hindolā हिन्दोल S̱. s. (dakh.) Swing: see هنڐولا hanḍolā. A. P. هندوئي hindū-ī 1. adj. Indian. 2. s. f. Blackness (of the hair, &c.). A. P. هندي hind-ī, adj. Indian, relating to India.

هڙنگا haṛangā H s. (dakh.) See خرابي ḵẖarāb-ī.

هر har हल S̱. s. m. A plough. هربهوگ har- bhog, s. m. Anarchy, confusion, uproar. هربهوم کا راج har-bhūm kā rāj, A country or place in which injustice prevails.

هانپنا hāmpnā H v. n. To pant, to be out of breath.

هل hal H s. m. The afterbirth.

هيم हेम hem S s. m. Gold. ¶ hīm (हिम) s. m. 1. Snow. 2. One of the six seasons. See هم him.
